Two new seats have been added at view points in Sanquhar Woods. The first, donated by Ben Romach Whisky is on the southern side of the pond in Sanquhar Woods and looks out over the pond. A new path was created leading down to the seat so that it could be sited with an uninterrupted view across the pond.
The second seat is on the hill side close to Chapelton Dam and provides a panoramic view across the dam to the countryside to the South of the woods. The Trustees hope that these seats will enhance the experience of all who enjoy the woods.
