A keen young helper who lives in Woodside Drive has made Squirrel Boxes built to the design on the Red Squirrel Conservation website and he also made some new Bird Boxes. The Bird Boxes have now been placed in Sanquhar Woodlands at appropriate locations and at least the recommended distance apart. The Squirrel Box will be placed shortly. The boxes are an excellent and timely addition to the Trustees programme to enhance the bio-diversity of the woodlands.
