A ‘Woodland Wander’ was held for families in Sanquhar Woodlands. The Wander enabled families to discover some of the nature that can be observed and experienced along the paths in Sanquhar Woodlands. Naturalist Steve Hull was on hand to pass on his expert knowledge and Wils Metcalfe led the walk: both are Trustees of Forres Community Woodlands Trust. The new Information Boards which were part funded by the Paths for All Community Fund were very useful by helping to show the wanderers where they would be going through the woodlands.
