Tree planting, May 2014
A small group of volunteers were out in mid May 2014 planting trees in the area beside the path to the South of the Coffin Field. These were native species and would enhance this corner of the woodlands.

Motorbikes in the wood? Report to the police
There have been several reports of motorbikes being ridden in Sanquhar Woodlands, including using the MTB trails. Motor bikes should not be ridden off the public highway and anyone seeing motorbikes being ridden in the woods should report it to the police by phoning 101 and providing as much detail as possible.
